About the Hotel

The Everest is a small family-run hotel situated in the peaceful Turkish countryside just 4 kilometres from the beautiful beach resort of Ölüdeniz, and is ideally located for a fantastic holiday for couples and families alike.  The Hotel is situated in open countryside at the foot of the Babadað Mountain, and it benefits from a delightful cooling breeze throughout the day.

Meals are served in the pleasant shaded dining area next to the pool.  For breakfast guests can choose between a traditional Turkish breakfast of honey, eggs, cheddar cheese ,salami, butter, jam, tomatoes and fresh olives served with the delicious local bread, or, if you’d prefer, a range of English breakfast produce is always available.

A comprehensive menu of snacks and meals is available from the bar throughout the day and evening - there are no set kitchen times at the Everest, but fresh local gateaux and tea or coffee are a great afternoon favourite!

The wonderfully peaceful sun terrace is well furnished with sun beds and sunshades to allow you to work on your tan whilst catching up on your holiday reading.  Whilst a regular dip in the superb swimming pool is the ideal way to keep cool (and helps build an appetite for lunch!)

If you haven’t planned a trip to the local market or one of the many trips and excursions available then you might be tempted to try your hand at pool table, dart  or table football.  If that sounds too energetic, but you’ve had enough sun for the day, then you can relax in a shaded sitting area to plan your evening’s entertainment.

Regular Turkish nights are held at the hotel.  A lavish barbecue is prepared, the drink flows freely and a belly dancer is on hand to give a demonstration of this traditional art. To prove how difficult it really is, guests are positively encouraged to have a try themselves and before the evening ends the entire hotel is usually dancing around the pool.
